Help me to get Galaxy Nexus

Guys,

Yesterday, Google Decreased the price of Nexus by another 50$ now its cost 349$ from Play store USA.

How we get this directly from Play store?

Is there any other online shop is selling Nexus for same price?

Please post your comments and suggestion here.
 
You might wanna wait for sometime and i think the prices will be reduced here in india as well
Just keep looking out in your local market or Ebay.in

You might have to pay heavy customs if you decide on ordering it from US/UK
so just wait and watch your local market prices :)
 
I am also waiting for the prices to be dropped here in local market or anywhere on net.

You can check thru icc world or shopabroad to pay on your behalf and get back here. Custom charges should be less than 2k.

custom duty on mobile phones is just 2.06 % :bleh:
 
It is really surprising to see that the price of GNex has really shot up on eBay. The cheapest one available(brand new) is ~27k! Don't know if it's because of the exchange rate or because the demand/supply ratio has gone up!
 
galaxy nexus on playstore is for $349 + shipping $24 (rough estimated ) + state taxes $26 (rough estimated ) = $400 x Rs. 57 = Rs. 23000 (rough estimated ) + 10percent ebay fee shipping etc. Rs. 23000+Rs.2000 = 25000 add around 10percent seller profit (Rs.2000) = Rs. 27000


Our Sardar err... Rupee is culprit here.. Rough Estimate :)

You are assuming that all sellers get it from the playstore? No chance. Also, AFAIK shipping is not that high (~$10-14) and there are states where you don't have to pay tax. Also, eBay fee on eBay.in is 1% + 4.5%, so 5.5% for mobile phones.
 
If I have a US shipping address, can I use VPN/proxy to buy it directly from play store? Is there a better workaround?
 
well let the us guy buy it and you pay him through your account. peace of mind. and if you are buying one, pm me. i want one too.

Actually I was talking about ShopAndShip.com US address. That's why I wanted to buy from play store directly.
 
Actually Play Store for devices is accessible only to some regions and countries which does not include India. That's why you cant use out of region Indian CCs. International cards or Amex cards work properly. Did anyone tried using a netsafe card?
