40K+ Seeking Advice Before Buying S24 Ultra

My current phone has been giving me trouble lately, so I'm considering upgrading to the Galaxy S24 Ultra—possibly the corporate Edition for the added 3-year support. Before I make the jump, I am looking for some feedback on a few points:
Has anyone experienced the green line issue on the S24 Ultra? If so, does the standard or Enterprise Edition warranty cover it?
I’ve mostly used audiophile phones in the past (LG, HTC, Asus ROG series). For those using high-quality IEMs or external DACs/portable DACs, how does the S24 Ultra hold up in terms of audio output and overall sound quality?
Are there any expected sales or promotions coming up soon that might be worth waiting for.

Have been using s23u for 3 years, no issues and everyday praise myself that I made such a splendid decision

Can you point me to a link where I can read about 3 year additional support? Sounds great for when I upgrade next

Best place is to buy Samsung is out of the country . Any phone for that matter . I bought a s25 Ultra for about 85,000 for the 256 gb version . Same one costs in India 1.2 lakhs . It is cheaper in Srilanka with a 2 way ticket factored in .

Yes, agreed, but you lose the warranty.

And this whole green line issue is scary without warranty coverage. I had to get the screens replaced on two phones (S21 Ultra and S21 FE), both out of warranty, one at 2 years 3 months, and the other at 2 years 9 months. Each replacement costed ₹1000. The green line replacement program is valid only for Indian units and only up to 3 years from the date of purchase.

Given how widespread the green line issue is, buying a non-Indian unit feels like a gamble. I’ve even heard they won’t repair those units at all, even if you're willing to pay (though I’m not entirely sure about that).

Not worth buying the S24UE - its 1L on Samsung Corporate Website all inclusive. Plus only one variant 12/256

Instead would rather get something like the Poco F6/F7 and change it after 2-3 years or when problems arise. That was selling for 23K for the 8/256 variant.

Only phone that could pass for audiophile is the Sony Xperia with it's headphones jack. But you won't find it in India and its not cheap.

If you can afford an ultra maybe look at it but no support if anything goes wrong

I do not know . I keep traveling and Samsung runs an offer in Africa where they replace the screen for around 1500 to 3000 rupees equivalent if broken . https://www.samsung.com/africa_en/offer/samsung-care-plus-nigeria-terms/ . For calculation sake 1 Re is roughly 18 Naira .

No global warranty as yet with Samsung.

They can always refuse.

Price you're quoting is labour only which means the screen was replaced for free.
I do not use costly phones . I buy for a few friends who religiously change phones with every model change . None of them have had any issues with the phones or screens . I do not spend more that 15 or 20k on a phone for my personal use . The labour is free if the phone is in warranty . The screen replacement is provided at the above price . I have also given the link for the same .
The android phones are definitely lower than India if bought outside India . Apple costs the same though .
In Africa Apple rules and even auto drivers will be mostly using iphone .

Oh thats a pleasent surprise...I thought for the ultra similar to apple probably it will cost 50k to get it replaced
Galaxy S24 Ultra—possibly the corporate Edition for the added 3-year support.
Could you also share the link where I can read more details about this offer?

More information available on this thread. Although not all models fall under the scheme, and it is always changing.
