    • 10K
  2. What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)
    • CPU - Intel i5 2400
    • Motherboard - Intel h67cl
    • GPU - xfx raedeon hd 5770
    • RAM - corsair xms 8g
    • Monitor - benq ew2440l dual
    • PSU - Corsair VX430
Want to upgrade my GPU without changing the PSU,

What are my option guys ?

Usage - Web devlopment, media consumption , rare gaming, video rendering and loads of browsing.
 
Your config is good enough for what you do, cpu does most of the rendering anyways.
What do you mean by rare gaming ? Like latest games once in a while or old favorites like sports games occasionally ?

There's a 10% difference between the 750Ti and 660, i wouldn't pay the 3-4k premium for that kind of performance

This is actually a bad time to buy gpu's, the new mid-range cards will be showing up in Q1 2015 from both camps, maybe you can pick up a used one for way cheaper when that happens.

By rare gaming i mean , when i feel like killing someone and then i install some FPS and waste one week of productivity :P
 
For 10k you can opt for either the 750ti or the 260x both are good.

The r7 265, however, goes online for around 11.5k and is faster than the 660. if possible, you can try haggling with local dealers to get it in budget.

if you like to buy used card go fo radeon hd 7950 card .. it is easily available around 11-12k but you need to put atleast 550w rating psu with it.
