PC Peripherals Help!!!!! Mouse Right Click button aint working

Hi fellas
I had got my MIcrosoft Optical Comfort 3000 last year in march. It was working perferfectly till today when out of the blue the right click button is not working.:( :(
Plz help, how should i go about this. is there anyway to fix it???
 
thats usb rite.....its prolly the mouse....but unplug and plug into another USB port and c if that works....and try pluggin it in a frnds lappy/pc....
 
tried that already, doesnt help. tried another USB mouse of dad's lappy n it works properly....any other way to fix it
 
doesnt even work with that....actually the mouse refuses to work at all with the converter, even the optical light doesnt light up....

tried the mouse on the lappy, right click doesnt work on that too :(
 
Then it looks like your mouse is busted. The switch under your right-click button is probably screwed. Get it replaced if its under warranty.
 
what is the warranty like, 1yr or 3yrs????

also from the software, i tried to change the right click to the magnify button, but even that failed even though the magnify button works properly for magnifying without any glitches
