PC Peripherals [HELP] Need a gaming build for 45k

Here, 24k rig budget, but X3 + 790GX is mandatory now, who need powerful dedicated GPU in gaming rig, 3 cores r better than 2 :cool2:

If you have seen the benches, 3 cores of 720 BE definitely scores over dual cores. This CPU specially trashes dual cores in multi-threaded applications.

Well, jeez, it's hard not to like the Phenom II X3 720, which is just a bundle of gimpy goodness. Thanks to its higher clock speed and larger cache, the X3 720 quite frequently outperforms its bigger brother, the Phenom II X4 810, even though it costs less. And, at 2.8GHz, the 720 is fast enough to match up pretty well against the Core 2 Duo E8400 in many applications—including games—that tend to run best with fewer and faster cores. In more widely multithreaded apps where the 720's third core kicks in, the Phenom II X3 almost always outruns the E8400, sometimes dramatically. Oddly enough, the 720's combination of three cores and relatively high clock speeds may be the ideal trade-off for the current state of PC software. Who knew?

And 720BE+790GX is a very good VMF combo right now. It's as simple as that. If someone has a budget in which he can manage a tri-core, why not?

U said that, exactly, "If someone has a budget in which he can manage a tri-core, why not?". OP has 24k budget lol. then what better E7300+G31+Good GPu or X3+790GX.

why buy x3 when Q8200 costs same and spending so much on 790gx when one can get 4830 + G31 costs almost same ?

for people who have 24k budget suggesting 15k amd combo when E7300 + 4850 + G31 costs 15k , makes no sense . and if someone really wants more cores then add 3k and get Q8200 .

Why is everyone missing the point completely here? The topic starter has a budget of 45k(!?!) and everyone is suggesting budget rigs. Go all-out boys! Help this guy build-up a dream rig.:hap2:

Need a gaming build for 45k including monitor and other stuffs....In mumbai

Here you go:

E7300 @ 5.5K

GA-P31-ES3G @ 3K

2X2 GB Transcend @ 2.4K

22X LG DVD-RW drive @ 1.1K

Seagate 500GB 7200.12 @ 2.9K

MSI heatpipe HD 4850 @ 8K

Benq T2200HD @ 10K

CX400W SMPS @ 3.3K

CM Elite cabinet @ 1.8K

Total: Around 39K. Add to this a decent keyboard+mouse (Rs 500)+APC 650VA UPS @ 3K+ Speakers/headphones and you are set with a budget of 45K.

PS: Sidhu, you happy? No tricores in suggested config :bleh:

But bear in mind that this config is somewhat end of line..
now the i5 will be the standard midrange...
+1 to above config if the rig wont be touched for at least 2 or 3 years..
if u wanna keep upgrading the rig then going for a AMD 790gx will be good...
it will seriously have lots of future support...
But nothin beats morgoths config as of now...
BTW get E7400 than 7300..

Main reason behind going for AMD platform that its uses same architecture as Intel does not. AM2+ mobos supports Phenom II whereas Intel i7 uses different platform...

I would prefer a good proc,,.....Coz i would be updating my rig each month....A good cabby please which can be water cooled and fit in coolers and fans
