Help needed in buying a Mobile

Could you please suggest me a mobile without touch screen. The battery should last long enough and the handset should be strong .
 
What kind of features do you need?

Either spell that out or specify your budget and list essential features and desired features in order of priority.

If you just want a phone to make and receive calls and text messages, I bought the Samsung Guru 100B last month for Rs. 1400/-. It works well for me and I charge it once a week.
 
very vague post. people can recommend anything from a nokia 1100 to a vertu. please give more details about your budget and requirements.

My budget is within 16k. I just need a mob with a good cam having normal features . It should look cool and it should be strong(by strong i mean it should not break when it falls :eek:hyeah:)

for 16K what else are your requirements do u want a windows mobile or other

ha ha, plz specify, plz specify. I think this is the best model as far as this thread is concern :D

In 16K you can get mobile ranging 3310 to n82. so PLZ SPECIFY. LOL
 
If you want great battery life but don't care too much about the camera then buy the Nokia E63(battery backup time even more than the E71 but has only 2MP camera).

But is camera and battery both are important then Nokia N78 is the only option(3MP camera). But the problem is that N78 production has been discontinued and it is not available at every shop. You will have to search for it.

I just want a mobile which is strong ,has a good camera with normal features . I don't use it for online purposes. I normally sms a lot so i need a keypad that is strong
 
Although Nokia N82 retails above ~17 to ~18K in many places, this chennai shop's website posts 15K

If you SMS a lot then the Nokia E63 is the best phone for you since it has a QWERTY keypad.
Also since you are a SMS junkie, stay away from the N82 since your fingers will go totally numb after typing long and frequent SMS'es.

Also after having heard many people complain about the keypad of the N78, I urge you to stay away from that too.

Before buying any phone just check out the keypad for yourself. See if you are comfortable with it or not.
