Help Needed on 23" LED Full HD Monitor

Guys,

I am looking for a nice LED Full HD Monitor 23". I found out one LG LED e2360v for about 10.5K (9.5K after applying coupon) on Infibeam.com.

Also I came across DELL ST2320L for same price @letsbuy.com

I would like to know which is good for games?

The specs for the monitors are good but I need the reality.

Only diff i could notice is Dynamic Contrast Ratio for Dell is 8,00,000:1 as compared to LG's 5,00,000:1

I personally did not find the ST2320L LED that appealing. Colors were just too washed out and dull and the sharpness just wasn't there. No matter how much i calibrated it. Had received two of them as replacements for my 22 LCD and i returned them both back for another 22 LCD.

This was a general user's perspective with usage consisting of browsing, workstation and multimedia devoid of gaming.

The Dell ST2320L is not a good monitor and many people have experienced the exact same thing.

As for the LG E2360V, from what I've read the image quality is decent, but the response time isn't as good as what they claim. A couple of places mentioned ghosting issues, but quite a few reviews also said there was no ghosting. :S

The Asus VH238H has a good word around, but I have no idea of availability in India.
 
^^ Well you haven't really mentioned your budget but if its below 8-9K then yes getting a 23" is not possible. If however you do decide to hike your budget, look no further than the Dell U2311 LCD (SMC is a registered dealer here and has listed it for 13700+Shipping). An excellent IPS panel monitor !!
