PC Peripherals Help needed problem in benq g2420hd

I took a benq g2420 hd display today , i have connected it to the pc via a hdmi cable , but the issue is at 1080p its displaying the same on 22inches of the screen approximately , rest corners are blank and whereas for lower resolutions its displaying full screen wtf :@ , please help me out

hi guys managed to fix the problem ,apparently it seems to an issue with the ati cards only , u hvae 2 go 2 catalsyst-center-displays-configure and do sm overscaling then it changes to full screen :) , donno whether dis issue existms with dvi cable as well will give it a try some other time :)
 
that was quick mate.i did have some problems with ati cards as well in terms of resolution at the start.
 
yea mate :) , strange no1 posted that query bfor.. maybe all googled bfor putting up a thread :) ,i did google but did not put it up properly wen i did right results popped up :P,. will google thoroughly next time i put up a thread :)
