PC Peripherals Help on configuration to upgrade my PC

I am a Graphic Designer. I want to upgrade my system so that the applications run faster. I use applications such as Adobe Photoshop CS3, Corel Draw, Adobe Flash, 3ds Max and many more high rendering tools. I need to buy a Processor, Mother board, RAM and additional components such as power supply if needed. my budget is 15,000-20,000 INR (350 - 450 USD). Please give me a very gud configuration stating the price if known.

Welcome to the TE Froums bo$$!!! :)

Here's wat u may need:

1. A Quad core proccesor.. Get the Q6600... 10.5k

2. Abit IP 35 E motherboard.. 5.4k

3. 2 GB RAM is d minimum recommended- Get a Transcend Jetram- Around 2.1k.

A PSU is outta ur budget as of now.. Wats ur current PSU??? U can stick to it if it has at least 500-600W and can provide enuf juice to power ur components..
 
Budget dude... Budget.. 20k maxx.. ;)

I've kept aside another 2k so tat he may add another 2k and invest in a good PSU...
 
^^ okies...den cutdwon on the proccy and mobo....an e8200(7.8) will be adequate with a biostar tp35d2a7(4.5)..this combo will surely save him 3.7k minimum....
 
But will definitely add to the performance degrade!!

A Duo wont do enuf justice compared to the xtra 2 cores from the Quad in Rendering apps...
 
Thanks for ur replies. I have herd that RAM matters more than the processor. so. how about reducing the budget to 6000-8000 INR.. pls suggest me a configuration based on that rates.
