CPU/Mobo Help on core components.

Ah. It's got no VGA port? LMAO. Silly me.

Guess I'll have to pick up a low end GPU for temporary usage

Or maybe I should just pick up the Asus M2N-MX the board you guys suggested...I'll think it over and decide :)

Right, I've decided to get the 22" Dell from Raghu on market, and I'll be getting the other parts later on....that 22" Dell is an unbelievable deal.

Sorry for the trouble, but I have a question. Is a 5600+/6000+ AMD x2 a good investment for a non-overclocker? Or would the Core2Duo at the same price point outperform those CPUs?

both the C2D E6600 & 5600+/6000+ AMD x2 are a equally good investment for a non-overclocker :)

Aren't 5600+/6000+ both a little cheaper than E6600?

I heard that 6000+ cost Rs 11,500. So should 5600+ which runs at 2.8 Ghz be in 9k range? I would like to save as much money as possible while not compromising on performance

Anyways, would the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 be a good companion for the E6600.

I'm really confused between Intel and AMD though

E6600+Asus P5N-E for 21k total would be great :D

but Asus M2N4-SLI+6000+ for 16.5k total won't be far behind too :)
