Help... regarding downgrading PSP.. Pandora battery..

Hey guys...

Dunno if it is fine for me to ask on the forum ...but here is the issue..

I got my new PSP Slim with 3.60 firmware official. However need to downgrade it for installing custom CFW.

Guys if anyone has a pandora battery and is ready to lend it to me for few dayz... please tell me... i am located in Mumbai (mulund)

any idea where we can buy the sony battery (fat PSP battery) in mumbai... and the cost..

Loading CFW isnt only for playing backed up games you know...it extends the utility of a psp in a lot of ways..u can for eg view pdf's on ur psp using an application which isnt possible on the ones using regular firmware..play user developed games etc etc..
 
Yup Dude i totally agree with you, so can you pls tell Sony that make this firmwares as official firmwares and test them make them bug free and make it available for PSP users for free and also support it.. [And pls post the answer u get from them below].

Why did i mentioned that line was doing such things by a geeks POV is cool and utilizing maximum capabilities of there hardware.

But by sony's [In this case] POV its illegal, coz it might have negative effect on you PSP and it can also brick one of these. And other reasons i guess everyone knows i.e. decrease in original games sales etc.........

yeah because sony cares so much that you don't end up bricking your psp [/sarcasm]

while the point about original game sales is of course valid, it would be interesting to see what happens if sony actually promoted the homebrew community instead of vilifying it.
 
I dont see Sony promoting the CFW as it will hamper there UMD sales.

yeah i know it won't happen but it's still an interesting thought. umd is a dead format and the psp got beaten into the ground by the ds. maybe a little love to the homebrew scene would help it's cause? ;)
 
yeah... even company like apple know for its "closed" approach.. had to open iphone for the developer.... wonder why sony cant do the same with PSP..

newayz... my problem still remains...

where do I get a fat PSP battery.... :huh:
 
p.s. to all the peeps here ,jus gettin a PHAT batt wont help . you need a phat psp with CUSTOM firmware for the record 2 get the whole thing done.

disagree with the unpeeps:bleh: a padora battery is enough, dont need a CFW PSP... if anyone wants to sell please PM, I have a phat one but unpandorisable...
