rt now ive a 17" samsung....
but i m gonna be moving out of mumbai soon...
so ill buy a better one then... coz i cant keep carrying around a 19" CRT everywhere with me :P as for this one... ill sell it locally.. ..

I was kinda expecting that, no use gettin a x1900 if ur gonna run at 10X7 or 12X10 ;) But since u are gonna buy a good 19" CRT then good choice, u'll make the most of that card running at 16X12 with some serious AA and AF.

hmm... this is sad..
went to lammington today to look for an Opteron 170
started with Computer Selection... but they had Opteron 165 .. and no DFI mobo rt now...
so i was quoted 26,650/- for Opteron 165 + ASUS SLI Delux...
then i went to another shop asking for opty 170 and DFI...then another ... then another...
not many even had Opty 165....forget the 170....
my question is wt should i do with an SLI Delux when ill be using an ATI card...and maybe get another ATI card in future.... i guess SLI will be completly useless for me :(

anyway wt do u guys think about the quote...should i go with it...or should i go with ASUS A8N-E....
sheesh lammy sucks... mumbai is ages behind technology :(

Get the Opty from Switch/Funky :)

Get the Ultra-D from Prime (Contact deejay for help, he can save you around 500)

You'll get the 2GB UCCC/5BD on Lammy easily.

For the PSU get NeoHE 500W/ Zebronics 640W/ Powersafe 600W

What is the break-up?
Get a8n-e if u are not going sli.
But still go with dfi ultra-d for good stability at high oc.
Try prime abgb or if u dont get there, then itdepot, its in stock out there.

Lol...sorry about that...Was thinking about the ASUS A8R32 MVP board that was mentioned in the forum sometime back.

The sapphire board is your best bet and cheap too. The ASUS might overclock better and will have warranty, though im not sure about the overclock. Read some reviews and decide.

Raghu.
