I need a help to connect a Wifi Hotspot.
I have an old Wifi Router which i do not use currently.
The distance between me and my friend's house is like 200 meters but different floor.
Near my friend's house, there is an Legal Open Free Wifi hotspot.
My friend gets 75% strength in his Laptop.
I get 1% to 0% strength in my Laptop. (due to building position)
I was thinking, if I could install the old Wifi Router at my friend's house.
That Wifi router will connect the hotspot.
Connect a Cat5/6 cable from my friend's house Wifi Router to my home Switch.
To get the Internet.
Can you please suggest me the proper settings to achieve this requirement?
