help with configuring email client in office 2003

Hi,

A friend of mine is using windows vista 32 premium with MS Office 2003. The email Client he is using is Windows Mail. Now everytime he clicks email in MS word, outlook 2003 pops open and asks to configure an email account.

Is it possible to make it so that his default email Windows Live opens up from MS Word ? I tried settings in default programs in start up, I made Windows Live all defaults and removed Outlook from any defaults. and yet no luck.

Can Someone pls. help.
