hola!
hey guys just have a small question....

" how to use a personalised image as my BIOS LOGO ? "

..........................it may be easy but i have no clue abt it and this may be
risky if i dont do it properly but i m really eager to change the
image ,consider it my child-ish-ness ,so if any body has any clue to do it the
right way or has done it and tells me every single detail on the process to change it i would be really thankfull....i just joined te
i knw it will be dam worth it!!:clap: ..................................... so pls help!!!
 
The BIOS logo depends on the BIOS manufacturer..

It cannot be changed on certain cases like in the AMI BIOS..
 
i suppose ur mobo came wid a manual...

if it did... then there are proper instructions printed in it..

most mobos now come wid dual bios / crash free bios or similar facilities to tackle the same :)
 
you can replace the boot up screen with the image of your choice but in my opinion it is not really worth it cos only .bmp and .gif formats are supported and that to up to a size of 150kb only

files saved in .bmp are usually more than 1mb and if you want to restrain size then have to save in lower color

but if still you want to give it a try then install asus update it will install a bios utility and my logo there is also a instruction file there read it if you still have any doubt then do ask i will clear it..

and i hope you know how to change the file format of the pic...:)

boot image change option is not provided by bios manufacturer but the mobo manufacturer in his case by asus and not by ami..

that's a warning just like the warning "speed limit 40kmph":P rarely followed:P

the 150KB limit is not stumbled upon by be yet on my mobo.

largest file used uptill now was 1.83MB.

usin korn's ? mark logo which looks the same after colour reduction :)
