help with Never Winter Nights

Hi, as I read in the forum that NWN is a Classic Game, so I bought it. Now The problem is that the game is Getting Stuck......The graphics come halting and the speech is also halting

I play NFS UG, Battle for the Middle Earth, which both require g force, and they work really well

so I guess there might be something wrong with the game setting.....I tried everything, and i also tried to defrag and then install it, even that did not help.
The game simply will not work smooth, I ahve even exchnaged the CD....still no go.
What to do?

I have 1GB DDR RAM and G Force 4 MX
and the drive on which i want to install it has almost 7GB free and all is defragmented.
Any Ideas?

What driver version are u using? Install the latest graphics card and chipset drivers and then report back if the problem persists.
 
Yup My drivers are up to date.......only the sound card was not upto date.....I updated it online and still the problem persists.
