well i googled and found few answers.. maybe useful to others

No, the Wireless-N USB Adaptor is not included. It is sold separately

Can I use any Wireless-N USB Adaptor? Or must I use the special Wireless-N USB Adaptor?

No, you cannot use any Wireless-N USB Adaptor. It needs to be Realtek chipset. HiMedia HD300A/HD300C/HD300D Player supports any Wireless-N/Wireless-G USB Adaptor with Realtek chipset.

Does the HiMedia HD300A/HD300C/HD300D Player support Bittorrent downloads?

For HD300C: No.

For HD300D: No and Yes, but you may have to open the casing to connect an eSATA HDD.(It may void warranty)

For HD300A: Yes, torrents can be added and managed from a standard webbrowser interface

Is Network settings automatically configured?

Network settings is automatically configured by your network router (DHCP for automatic IP, Gateway, DNS settings). You can also manually set network settings in the HiMedia HD300A/HD300C/HD300D Player setup menu (eg. to override auto settings assigned by your router, or when you connect peer-to-peer with your notebook without a router). [note: answer is same for wired and wireless Network]

5. Can I connect a USB Hub?

Yes, you can connect a USB Hub which lets you connect MORE external drives!

Can I play media from a USBdisk?

Yes, you can play audio, video, photos directly from USBdisk. The HiMedia HD300A/HD300C/HD300D Player has 2 USB Host ports, and you can connect more by using a USB Hub.

Finally this is made available in india. I had been reading about his product for quite some time now. It is made by a chinese company. A clone can be found here on DX

There's another model called hd500 which is big enough to accept a 3.5 hdd

Dang - you just beat me to the DX link. But this one's finish seems way better. And comes with 1 year warranty.

This is a poor man's media player. Not many players accept a 3.5 hdd and those that do aren't cheap. The xtreamer uses a realtek 1283(over clocked) while this one uses a 1073.
