err off topic but what are those 4 dot like things called ? .. i got them with my re0 today ... whats their use .. sry if i sound noob :)

those are dust filters, when u remove the tips u will find the filters there

these are extra if the original gets clogged

i think what i said is true but not sure.....

^ Your are right . Those are filters which stick to the eartip nozzle .

These really cant be compared to the S4 as such cause both are on a different level. The S4 is more of mid level whereas the RE262 is a IInd top tier IEM. Sound signature wise the S4 are more aggresive and bright on the treble whereas the 262 has a more laid back yet detailed treble. The 262 has one of the most fluid and beautiful smooth midrange Ive heard under 250$ . Overall sound is pleasing and laidback . Bass is very tight and punchy . Soundstage is very wide and one of the best.

The earphone sounds pretty good straight out of the player but really shines when paired with a decent amp.

^ I am already upgraded and stuck to a TF10 forever :P untill the customs one day ...
Anyways bump for the RE-262 ! Todays market value of Rs. ~8500 after the rise in dollar price. My price dropped to 4650 local pickup. 4750 shipped. A RE-262 as good as new at 44% discounted price + free carry case worth ~250-300 bucks :P

^ RE-262 & TF10 are pretty much on same level , its just a matter of preference / sound signature .

RE-262 has unmatched mids & soundstage along with slightly punchy bass & treble . TF10 has very good bass & treble along with decent soundstage & mids ;) .

Payment done faheem , hoping this is my last IEM stop :P. Spending way too much now on IEM's just like you and esanthosh described :P
