Himesh's Kajraare released in only Two theaters

These days marketing and promoting a film extensively before its release has become almost mandatory. Hence, we were completely taken by surprise when we got to know that the forthcoming Himesh Reshammiya starrer Kajraare has released today (15 Oct) without any fanfare. Yes…you heard it right, Kajraare has released in just 2 cinema halls across India, namely New Empire in Mumbai and Apollo in Pune and that too with just one matinee show at each of these theatres.

There is no denying the fact that after Box Office disasters such as Karzzzz and Radio, Himesh's market value has taken a beating. However, despite that, no one expected a big budget film like Kajraare to release all of a sudden and that too with morning shows in just 2 cinema halls.

Kajraare is directed by Pooja Bhatt and produced by Bhushan and Krishan Kumar. Why the makers have taken such a sudden and shocking decision is something which remains a mystery as all attempts to contact anyone closely associated with the film proved to be futile.

apparently he has earned more money by means of satellite rights.

so he did not want to waste money on promotion of the film.

moreover there is a clause that for the satellite rights to be sold the movie should be first released in theatres.

he(producer) did it for namesake

P.S : I am no fan of himesssh, i think he sucks big time in acting :lol:

^^ Not that everyone dislikes him. But I feel he would have achieved a lot more if he had only concentrated on Music direction. His music was very decent when he was new to the film industry. But the craze of making a career in acting ruined him.
