Graphic Cards HIS or MSI HD 4850 radeon in Mumbai-Price&Place to buy from

Dear Friends,
I am Sam from Kolkata. I will reach mumbai tomorrow and will be there for 10 days. Please advise me in details the current market prices and where from in mumbai to buy the following cards:
1st Preference -
HIS HD 4850 IceQ4 GDDR3 1GB(256bit) PCIe [Product Code-H485QS1GP/EAN Code-4895139000993]
or
HIS HD 4850 IceQ4 GDDR3 512MB(256bit) PCIe [Product Code-H485QS512P/EAN Code-4895139001020]

2nd Preference -
MSI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 (product code:R4850-T2D512/model no. V151) with QUAD PIPE THERMAL HEATSINK

Please treat this as most urgent and oblige me asap.
 
HIS is not available in India.

For the MSI card, you could walk around Lamington road looking for a deal, or you could try some of the dealers here on TE. check out the Dealers Paradise section
 
Thanks my friend. Can you please suggest some other good brands with 1gb memory and good inbuilt cooling solution thermal or heatsinks. Honestly speaking, our living condition i.e. summer in india is 35-40 degrees, i don't own an AC - so heating issue is also my concern.

Also please reply to my other thread regarding motherboard compatability issue.

if u r plannin 2 go back 2 kolkata n use the hardware there then i would suggest it buying from there itself..for better After Sales (via dealer u buy)

price difference wont be much.

at lamington road, roam around in 5-6stores b4 u buy..some retailers really take the customers for a ride if n when they can.
 
Thanks madnav, have tried in kolkata. No one is able to give me the quadpipe V151 model. And i have seen the sealed pack of the reference card, it says 3 years warranty all over india.

yes u surely will get the warranty all over india..

bt sometimes the dealer u buy from handles the replacement n ur time is saved...was talkin from that point of view...

no problems buyin from anywhr in india..

^ HIS isn't available in India. You can order same HIS card via KMD. Look out for XFX HD4850 in mumbai, it might be available. 1GB doesn't offer an advantage over 512MB unless you would be gaming beyond 1650 resolution.

Dear friend, how do i contact KMD over here? I will be in mumbai for 10 days, can he arrange HIS for me in this span?
 
you can contact him via pm his name is katmandude.I think you can get via him in 10days but do keep in mind that you wont get any local warranty and kmd charges for sending the card back to usa for rma.

Better get it from mumbai only with local warranty

The IceQ4 Turbo?

There's a Gigabyte 4850 512MB with a Zalman cooler. Sapphire has a 4850 512 MB Toxic with a custom cooler. Palit has the Sonic edition. Powercolor has a ZEROtherm copper cooler on the 4850. MSI has the custom heat-pipe cooler. Most brands for that matter, have at least one non-reference design cooler with the HD4850. Haven't come across a review that spotlights the IceQ4 Turbo as the best of the lot. ;)
 
^ IceQ4 has best aesthetics among all non-ref 4850's. Afaik, many non-ref 4850 leave vregs with no active airflow, even not putting sinks on memory. However, IceQ4 does offer cooling for vregs, rams and most important exhausts air out of the case. Unlike all other non ref 4850's, IceQ4 Turbo brings such a peice of mind as you won't have to worry about vregs, ram cooling etc :P
