How 2 Confirm Data1 Plan Change For Ul 900+? Plz Help!

CAN ANY PLEASE "REALLY" HELP ME HERE?

I tried every other BSNL A/C check portal ,But i get NO mention of any change to plans from my Earlier HOME 500 to HOME 900UL PLUS.:(

My PLAN was SUPPOSEDLY Changed Yesterday(enquiry frm BSNL ppls) :huh:

Me in GR88 Doubts.........:huh: :S :( :huh:

,so sumbody already experiencing this irony, PLZ HELP ME OUT!

I WOULD B MUCH THANKFUL!:) :) :)
 
the only way to be 100% confirmed is after getting the bill ...
i am not joking ..i am a *satisfied* bsnl customer with a lot of experiance ..

MAYB, I have Phoned BSNL over a HUNDRED Times........& still I am in COMPLETE Mystery........What is GOING ON?

THOSE PPLS.......(Whom I saw Last yesterday making My Plan Change....& Whom I YESTERDAY...Thanked SO MUCH........) while I contacted TODAY, Kept Repeating......that the PLANS have been changed Yesterday only as per Orders.........

But The REAL Confusion in the Portals,which does NOT Reflect that change & still shows same as in the earlier 500 plan........& When i TOLd them about it.....they said the Portals r ONLY updated by Month Change......& doesnot reflect plan change,....even if the Plans r REALLY changed in miidle of the Month...........So ALL THOSE " CHARGED" Bandwith consumption r of NO IMPORTANCE & CONSEQUENCE.....& Morever,when in case of FALSE BILLING,if what happens if everuthing is charged as in the BSNL a/c check portals.......they said that would NOT simply arise......and whatever if any false billing,just bring the bill to them........& THEY would surely Get things/bill corrected

Now,I am in JUMBLES...........what to make up of all these BSNL ppls infos & advices..........more particularly when all the a/c check portals shows my daytime usage as charged!

EVEN,,,,,,another GR88 S**t thing happening today (for the first time today..) my DATA1 Daytime speed has crwled to a loathsum 140 kbps.......& Jezz,I am MORE SCREWED WTH THAT THAN EVER........Is it THAt happens with ALL "900 UL " ppls..........or is it JUST ME.......PLAIN UNLUCKY?

SO,SUMBODY ( "particlarly" those with already shifted 900 plan) PLEASE PLEASE HELP. NEED HELP BADLY!
 
Bump.......has anybody already GOTTEN the UL PLUS for DATA1 inhere?

...i was seriously expecting sum genuine replies.......from all the experts/alraedy HAVE's of DATA1 UL!
 
well here is my story:

applied for a new phone exclusively for dataone on the prescribed form for dataone on 17th april. was assured of everything to go right by the sde (comm). phone installed on 28th april. no. allotted on 29th. inquired about dataone. was told all ports are in use and will have to wait for an unspecified period of time to get dataone. wrote to mr. maran and cced to all directors of bsnl. on 5th may dataone activated on home 250. on 31st may wrote for upgradation to home 900 plus. on 5th june home 900 plus activated. btw, i am from shillong, meghalaya. here the bsnl officers work but only when pushed to do so. but a few exceptional officers are there who go out of the way to help.
 
Thanks,SUMITB........ur's one was an eyeopener.....probably u r the ONLY 1 from Entire NE INDIA to have 900 UL scheme!......mayb a WOW for that!!!
 
@SumitB did u have to pay anything for the installation of the new phone or anybody else can confirm what are the charges or no charges for BSNL 900 UL with a phone exclusively for Net purpose.
 
For NEW connection of 900UL plan,Rs 900 is required 2 b deposited or else if u r a Old timer(having previous Data1 connectn) No Money neede for change of plan 2 900UL plan! Hope now it;s clear!!
 
there are two plans in UL one is the 900 plus and other is the plain unlimited. If you dont have a landline then you can opt for the 900 plus and you will be charged only for net. There is on landline monthl rental. You will have to pay 1 month advance. Other is if you have existing landline then you pay 900 + regular land line charges
 
archish I know the 2 plans. I do have an existing landline but there is noise if I want to use both voice & net at the same time. Of course there is possibility of using some filter. The other thing is I've also recieved complaints from friends & relatives that the phone is not free. So to get rid of these complaints once & for all I wanna get an additional line exclusively for dataone (900 or 900+) depending on what the exchange people tell me. I would also inquire there but also thinking of asking u guys.
 
Yes there is a noise in the telephone line and also i find the volume to be little lower. I tried different ADSL filters but still there is no change. Anyway its not of much concern as I dont use the landline at all.
 
If u use Data1 & Normal PSTN Phone SIMULTANEOUSLY,there SURE is to be generation of certain LINE NOISE@ Phone end.It gets cleared as soon as Data1 Router-Modem is switched off!

shirish..........Phone is FREE as THERE is NO RENTAL for PHONE usage in the 900 PLUS scheme!.

.....IMO there is NOT much logic in getting a second line JUSt for the sake of Data1 BBand!
 
Perhaps, but friends & relatives 've complained repeatedly that they try my telephone & its engaged. Been confirmed through cell phone couple of times that when BB is there the line is engaged. It's a hit & miss affair atleast at my end :( I don't know about others.
 
I REALLY dont know that,b'coz i have been personally receiving ALL calls.No Miss calls there & my Phone sits on the desktop besides my PC

Sorry to be replying late. Actually I paid Rs. 2000.00 at the time of application of the new phone. Then when phone was done, i paid 1300 something for the dataone with home-250 plan and modem on rent. then to upgrade to ul 900 plus (mind the plus) i did not pay anything but i am told i will have to pay 2 months rent as security and 1 month's rent as advance which will be collected from me in my bill.

Also i have upgraded to ul 900 plus. in shillong atleast you are not supposed to have a new connecion for 900 plus but as per some other forums bsnl is not giving this plus scheme to existing customers and are only giving this to subscribers who opt for a new telephone connection.
 
I don't know Why BSNL does something like this elsewhere in our country. Here in Pune I can opt for either schemes, for a new phone it's Rs. 500/- . There was a scheme sometime back for new phone installation for Rs.0/- don't know if there were any riders on it though. I would go for the 900+ scheme only when connection is free & no security deposit/rent etc. These guys are just looting us. :(
 
Hey shirish.......whether u r in Pune or Patna, BSNL rules r same everywhere..

..for new connection= payment

...for old connection=change of plans=no payment!
