OC & Modding How Do I Stabilize My OverClock????

run any test in a worst case scenario (shutdown all the fans, coolers and ACs in the room) for atleast 1 hour, after that it's upto you, personally I'd suggest that you run each test for some 4-5 hours each to really stress that CPU (taking it above a threshold you are likely to cross in day to day use)

47C idle is very high and comparatively 53C load is too less.:S

These temps were shon by Everest?

What cpu cooler/hsf?:huh:

Use coretemp utility to monitor cpu core temperatures.
 
ok,i ran the blend test over night and when i woke up the temps were surprisingly low...it was flickering between 48-50degrees....last night i monitored the test for around 5-10mins and @ that time the temps had reached 53degrees...

do i have to do anything else?????btw am using the stock HSF and last night only the ceiling fan was running...
