i jus install my new harddrive
and now all of sudden i cant
burn cd it saids it dosent exists / or it not set
correctly

can some one teach me how to set cd drive??

Is the J: drive is the one you are talking about?

If yes, whats the software you are using and what is the accurate message its giving. Please tell in detail...
 
Hope the following helps u .............

A. check the data cables connecting to the cd drive & mobo.
B. Check that the settings are reflecting in the BIOS.
C. Check What's the CDRW name in the BIOS
D. Try Changing the data cables
 
i d rather say u simply check the connection of the DRIVE once again ..

Disconnect the drive once and then connect it to be doubly sure ..

Make sure u do it wid the system turned off.. :P
