How is canon A1100 for 9300 at chennai!!!

I am need to buy a digicam within budget within 10k.

While searching i found this one.

Canon A1100 -- 9300 with Uniross charger & 2 AA rechareable battery and 4 gb card with pouch. Is this a good VFM camera.....

Please suggest i am nooby for the photography!!!!!
 
I cannot say much about the product except that my colleague bought this last week for 9700/- from Croma. So you are getting it for a good price.
