Storage Solutions How is Samsung 1TB HDD?

Hello guys,

I have nearly filled my 500gb*2 HDD(both are from seagate). Now I need atleast 1TB of space. But I am confused which one to buy Samsung(warranty ~ 5years) or Seagate(warranty ~3years). I am more inclined towards Samsung since warranty is most important for me(I have suffered total data loss 2times in seagate). How is the performance of available Samsung 1TB HDDs against those of Seagate 1Tb HDDs? Plz suggest me one but fast as I may buy it tomorrow. Thanks

Longer warranty does not protect you against data loss, only a good backup strategy helps.

IMO use any harddisk, it depends on how you use it to store data and how physically you take care of the hdd.

I have tried almost all brands and m non fanboy of any.

^^ I had been looking for the Samsung F3s in blore a couple of months back with no luck. Where did you get that hdd from?
