You know, it's frustrating because we'd really like to be able to lay hands on the mythical HP Envy 14 that regularly gets recommended in our comments and deliver the final word, and that's part of the reason it hangs out in runner up territory.

before buying HP remember
1.No extended warranty on HP
2.its a high end laptop and dell is the only company that takes good care of highend models....you will have trouble getting this model repaired from HP if anything goes bad in the warranty period.

The laptop is very good and looks stunning in person. A friend of mine got it from USA. Good laptop with good graphics capabilities for light gaming. Has a metallic feel. Very nice screen with sharp colors. Audio through headphones (sennheisers) was good but through speakers was not so. She had 6GB of ram. All in all a very decent buy.
