Graphic Cards How much will the 8500 and 8600 series cost?

As the two series are being launched in a few days []- Engadget, how much would they cost here?

I was going to get the 7600Gs.Is it wise to wait now and get the DX10 stuff?

8600GTS may retail for abt 14k and the 8600GT may be abt 10k...

Expect a month before the prices in India would stabilise but i would say hold on ur purchase for the 7600GS.
The reason is that when getting a 8600 or 8500 series card, it would provide DirectX 10 support which is something to look forward to. Plus when they get released expect a price drop for the 7600GS. Either way its a win win situation for you.

So if you have patience, a wait of a month of so is highly recommended!
