How to buy Aakash 2 tab for Rs.1130

Just saw in news about its launch.
Would like to get one to use as GPS in my car.
Anybody knows how or where i can get this in 1130 bucks ?
M still a student. Not in school but college

I don't think it has GPS. Network based GPS is of no use.
Is there any confirmation about it's chipset?

Alwinner A10 Chipset (most probably) as written in the article posted by comp@ddict just above your post.
Still no news of GPS.

If its an A10 or even the weaker A13 processor chipset, it can still play 1080p videos...

I don't think this tablet will be available in sufficient quantities any time soon...

It is a SARKARI project- this Akash 2 Tab- the delivery times will be Sarkari too.
If any tabs come to the hands of the students before mid 2013- it will be a minor miracle !
The launch probably was just to enable the minister concerned to earn some brownie points and get some face exposure from the stupid Indian TV news channels! the manufacturer probably has manufactured a few dozen demo pieces to be checked by the IT illiterate central minister and Prez.
