How to Colour/Paint a WALL in Photoshop?

Friends, Need Help/Suggestions

2vnjp6w.jpg

With reference to immediate above image I want to know is it possible to Color/Paint the Walls with same color? There are lots of Black Spots/marks and discoloration due to heavy rains in the premises shown above :ashamed:

Kindly help me How to do this? as I am N00b in Photoshop :ashamed:

Wishes :D

use colour range command from select command and change the hue of the part . also remember to remove excess/unwanted selected area

Use the lasso tool to select the given area and them use Lpf to white wash the building or just drop the paint in it using the bucket but that will not give you proper light effects... Then you can add light to it to give a more realistic look

Whats the actual size of the image to be painted, is it the size you posted? it is almost too small to paint properly. What is the final output.. print, screen, pdf? Just filling it in with color really wont look very realistic, how real does this need to look?

I would suggest using the Polygonal Lasso tool so you can select straight lines around the walls. Copy and paste each section on a new layer so you don't mess with the original. Then try to balance out the light and dark area's to a more even tone using levels. I would sample a color from the wall that you want to keep, make a new layer and with a selection of the wall shape from below, fill it with that color. Then use blending modes to blend the 2 layers together for a more realistic feel.

The Size is very large ( http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/8021/mrinmay038.jpg ):

I don't want it to be very realistic. All I need is to remove those Black Spots from Wall/Floor so that the photo looks decent.

Indeed Me gonna try what you have suggested, but it will take some time/days as I am complete N00b in Photoshop Thing :ashamed:, but I will definitely try my hands over PS :)

BTW Many Many Thanks to you Also :)
