Hi All..

I got few accessories which are dysfunctional and are as good as trash.

Stuff like Two Sony DVD Writers bought at a premium and both went dead as soon as warranty expired.

Now i can always throw in the dustbin or to the scrap dealer, but these contain harmful material and should be disposed off properly.

Any suggestions for the same ..?

i have an old 29inch tv which has gone bad. how to dispose it off? give it to the local raddhi wala for some bucks? useless crt tv takes up lot of space, imo.
There are technicians/service agencies that buy old TV sets in any condition. Give them a try.

I'm also counting on it. During a back breaking house cleaning and came up with three Sony walkman sets, one Canon scanner and a Canon photo printer. About the walkmans, the cassette player is dead, FM works, but even paanwaala won't want it, what with his cellphone FM :/

Either those neighborhood electrician shops or kabaadi-waala. At least Nokia people have that box for dropping cellphones stuff for recycling (dunno how well it works though).
