hey dude, I got myself one and was able to configure audio output, just go to your device manager and there will be a unknown device, which is how I figured it out, just let it connect to internet and update the driver which will be the ATI HDMI driver, or else you will find it for download in ATI website, after installing the driver, every time you want audio out of HDMI, you will have to select it Sound and Audio Device Properties (Control Panel) as default sound playback device and thats it, jobz done
