I have ios 6.1.2. Do I need to install Cydia first? Thanks!

Ok since you are on iOS 6.1.2, DO NOT update your iOS version else you won't be able to jailbreak. Stay on 6.1.2.
Check the posts above for the evasion website link and also the tutorial on how to jailbreak, step by step with pictorials. I suggest you first read everything and then start so you know what to expect. All this might sound rocket science but it isn't. It's very simple.
After your jailbreak is done, cydia will be installed automatically. You need not do anything explicitly.
Ensure you are on Wifi so that after you open cydia it can download the default repos and everything on your device.

Just a headsup that after you jailbreak, under iTunes in your PC, you might see the 'Other' space might increase. Do not worry about that as it is the jailbreak stuff occupying the space.

If you have questions then ask here. After everything is setup, install the cool cydia tweaks one at a time. I insist one at a time since many a times some tweaks have issues which might result in springboard crashing. This makes it easy to identify which tweak caused the problem and it can be removed easily.
Refer the other dedicated jailbreak thread to see what tweaks we have installed and see what you like.

Thanks mate, you're very helpful. I will try to jailbreak mine after I check some videos on how to do it. :)

And don't be fooled by random websites claiming their jailbreak works and all. Only evasi0n is the legit jailbreak so use their website only and DO NOT PAY money to any website which claims to help you jailbreak. Jailbreaking is free. I am not saying you are stupid or anything but there are people out there who do pay money since they are not well informed.
It is some cydia tweaks and apps that cost real money.
And do not worry that you will mess up your phone or brick it. JBking won't cause hardware issues.
