How to receive signal from Wi-Fi which is in the next building ?

Hi

I have a friend living next building who had a good Internet Plan.

He has Wi-Fi but only 1 point of wireless signal comes , that too near my gallery.

Is there any Wireless Adapter that i can use so that i can connect to the Wi-Fi from my home ?

I have seen people using some kind of Directional Antenas; not very sure if that is a feasible solution.

If the signal in your gallery is strong, try installing a repeater over there.

I would suggest to get a 740N - set it up as a repeater like how I have shown on the forum earlier. Keep this as near as possible to your friends house.

How far is he? Run an ethernet cable to your balcony and connect it to a wifi router there. Anything thing above 2nd floor would barely be noticeable and everything would run smooth. Also probably cost much less.
