hows reliability of dtdc courier service?

i want to know about the reliability of dtdc courier service for shipping electronic goods.
 
I think its the best courier service in india in the cheap and reliable category. Others like Bluedart are even better but for a price.
 
avoid deal with dtdc cause they charge high rate as same at blue dart and someone might steal electronics product for dtdc normal rate

Not true depends on location.I have never faced any issues with them till date.

But for Mobile phones I always use bluedart.

DTDC is quite cheap.

Sent PS2 with 2 controllers to south india for 420 bucks.

Sent rams to delhi for 35 bucks

Bluedart costs min 290 bucks but deliver next day.

DTDC takes 3 days.

For me they have been the best courier service upto now. No bothering with making calls or asking you to pick up at the nearest landmark etc.
 
I have been using DTDC a lot of late and it has to do with the following 3 factors:

1) Just call them and they pick up from home - irrespective of how small the package is
2) Pricing is very good, they have a Lite and an Express variant, with the latter guaranteeing next day delivery
3) Ships to metros and major cities within a day.

Similar stuff over FirstFlight or Overnite used to cost me much much more.
 
90% of my deliveries are made by dtdc. good tracking and they always call to let me know that i have a parcel.

For my side i use PAFEX. rates are good and tracking also. and they take care of things very well.

DTDC is fine as a courier service. I've shipped CPUs, Burners, RAM, everything and they've all reached in perfect condition. However, I get pretty irritated cuz the franchisee close by says theyre not supposed to ship electronics =/
 
^ That's a common excuse by all the DTDC chaps I guess, but I used to tell them that I am going to a different courier service and they accept the parcel then. Now they don't ask questions.

Recently received a HSF from theitwares through PAFEX and it was really fast. It seems to be a subsidiary of FEDEX and I feel the rates are rather high.
