Storage Solutions How's Silicon Power as a brand for ssd ?

If given the choice between Samsung and Silicon Power, I would also go for Samsung without a second thought. You should also check the marketplace of TE. I have seen some folks selling Samsung SSDs at the TE.

I'm also considering to get a cheap SSD as I've pretty much maxed out/****ed up the measly 16GB microSD on my Raspberry Pi 4. Have an enclosure with me already and SP seemed interesting plus have closer support centers. How's the Patriot going for you @nick.knack91011?

P.S. I do plan to run more workloads in there that takes up the extra space, hence going for the bigger jump.

I just got the 128gb model I think it's called p300 ? Only using it as secondry ssd in my secondry Laptop for high seas and stuff, so far so good but didn't do extensive testing in terms of speed and reliability and stuff.

For basic downloading and side stuff I didn't want to spend extra so, having said that I still recommend samsung or hynex as primary os work drive just for ultra reliability, but patriots been working fine so far and it does say 3 years warranty.

I was going to order SP but delivery time was a week away at my location and Patriot seems to be have great reputation even on US amazon so why not .

Edit : I did order this btw https://amzn.in/d/gvP7D8F to check how good are Sp Products as i needed a sd card for my old camera and seems to be functioning better than the toshiba one I had . So both companies seem fine and have decent reputation as long u are buying to as not main drive i feel.
