p.s. what exactly is the difference between inspiron and xms series?

its xps...that alienware tech comming dere....the xps15340 for eg ..sports the mobile version of 8600gt gfx card ova the laloo 8400m gs

i am not sure if thats all the difference... you can configure xps without 8600gt and it would still be costlier than inspiron with the same specs.

dude spending 50k on an inspiron 1420 is totally not worth it these days.. considering its available for like 31k (the base) so wat i would recommend is up ur budget by another 10k an then try an get an xps 1330 wit led screen. Nothing would match tat beauty.. !!

there r quite a few diff between ur inspiron and xpx 1530

firstly the screen size...its 15.4 vs the 14.1....the truelife tech is standard for the xps.
u get remote control...
the vista is aero one for the xps.

hehe and even in support specs
90w adapter is the standard
and the HDMI connector..

go for this configuration...

it gets even more confusing for me. dell xps m1330 with 13" screen and lesser configuration costs more than xps m1530 with 15" screen.

hands on agree wit superczar.. try fitting in an xps 1330 within ur budget .. if not poss and if u can wait.. wait a couple of weeks.. dell prices are always coming down .. also u can bargain on the prices u get on the website.. so do that and tax is almost always included in the original price so u dont need to worry bout tat.. jus call an bargain!

well if u can forgo the 8600m gt on the xps..u can look forward to the hp one..forgot the model no..check it put at their site..some spl edition..that seemed a good product

I think you can get Inspiron 1520 in that budget
