I bought this in Jul, 2017 to tide me over, and I couldn't believe just how mushy the keys were. No satisfaction typing *at all*. Bought a mechanical keyboard soon after for a lot more money. I don't think the HP would be that much better, but it can't be much worse.

Don't get put off by the mechanical keyboard users. They love abnormal noise for whatever reasons, if you love that stay away from these soft, mushy membranes. I think the Dell has slightly more space between the keys (from the photos). So I'll go for that for accuracy.
