Question : How is it in working with animation related work ?
[Autodesk Maya, 3D Max, Photoshop]

Question : Please check Specs and let me know what bad and good you can take out of it.

Question : I'd always heard Hp have some good Display's and expensive too. Does it worth money ?

Question : Shall I go for it or not ?

Question : Where to buy and any price info ?

LCD's problem of angle-view like I've seen the problem of black screen while playing BattleField3 today made me to find LED.

I need a 27" LED.
Budget : 20-22k [25k if worth money]

Found a eBay.in link : HP 2711x 27-Inch LED Monitor - Black | eBay
So I think Delhi store's must be having them for lower price than this.

Please some urgent replies ?
I'm in quick need to buy it.
As seen everywhere, Dell U2311H is rated good.
When compared Dell U2311H to HP 2711x, HP is better in almost all specs.
Any review ?
Where can I buy this HP LED ? :(

The first thing is why are you comparing a 23" display to a 27" one when you actually want a 27" display? U2311 is a e-IPS display. HP 2711 would be a TN Panel.

@ Op: I don't thnik there is a tangible advantage in only having a bigger monitor with the same resolution.
You are getting the same screen real estate. Better you can opt for a 1080p IPS or a 1440P (Is this term technically correct?) 27" monitor.

If you are constrined in your budget, try to take a 23-24" with 1920x1080/1200 resolution.

Many times that itself feels large...

i would suggest you to stay away from 1920 x 1080 monitors, especially the 27".

go for a 1920 x 1200 24" lcd.

if you have the budget for 27" then go for dell 27"

For what reason, can you please explain not to go for 1080 monitors ?

I already have 22" Dell LCD.

So going for 23 and 24 doesn't seems to be a good idea to me.

I want a big screen so I'm interested in 27".

@stormblast

Why not to go for 1080p ?

^ cause the extra pixels help a lot when using softwares like 3d max & photoshop. the more screen space you have the better it is to have access to most options.

also once you use a 1920 x 1200 screen you will definitly never go back to 1920 x 1080 because it just feels wrong, the 16:9 ratio doesnt seem right atleast to me for usage in softwares like 3dmax where the aspect ratio seems incorrect.

So 16:10 is your preference ?

Any model from some specific brand ?

yes for a resolution around 1920 i prefer a 16:10 ratio.

but if you go higher res like 2560 then a ratio of 16:9 will not be any problem as the screen size is anyways very big.

i always prefer dell monitors. if you have the budget then go for dell u2711 27"

Why not trying viewsonic x series 27" LED Monitor?

It is also rated good, only draw back is that it is TN and not IPS.

Resolution is 1920X1080 and is 16:9 aspect ratio.
