So I finally decided to part ways with a long time companion...the HP Omnibook 6100. :)

Quick Specs: Pentium III-M 1.13 GHz, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB* HDD, 15.0-inch SXGA+, DVD drive (Purchase - USA)

Reason for Sale: I don't intend to use it anymore.

Manual & Specs: Here

Drivers: Available on the HDD & from the HP website.

Windows OS Key: Yeah, Win 2K. :P

Accessories: HP - None ; Vanson AC Adapter ; USB Optical Mouse

Does it work? Yep, running Win XP SP3 (ready to use!)

Condition: Decent, minor scratches here and there.

Known Issues:

Dead battery

CMOS battery needs to be changed

A single horizontal line on the display (16th pic)

Given that the laptop is functional for the most part and that the deal isn't all that bad, I'm expecting Rs.1000 for the whole deal.



Ideal for those who wish to run linux distros or Windows (XP max) for basic, everyday usage.

Testing Warranty: Come on over and test the laptop for yourself. :)

Freebies: What's available on the HDD is yours! :P

Shipping: Looking for a local (Chennai) sale.

However, if you can arrange for a courier pickup, I'd be OK with that.

A local buyer is interested in the laptop and is willing to offer a lot more. Guess I underestimated the value of it. :ashamed:
