A friend wants to buy HP TX1000 tablet pc. here is the review

He wants to know how good is the processor AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-62 against an Intel T 7xxx. At $1100 is it a good deal?

its a good proccy for basic use...wont win any horsepower matches again the T7xxx series but a decent dual core it is

HP also just launced the Tx 2000 series with a better touch screen n its for the same price AFAIK, shud be available in the US soon if not right now. check that out too hyeah:

yes i would also suggest waiting for the new tx2000 series especially IF the touchscreen is better (active/capacitive rather than passive/resistive)...

i have the tx1302au and it is decent... touchscreen cant be used for handwriting just basic tapping
