Reviews are praising the phone. Great camera, build, audio.. all about getting the basics right. If it launches in india (820 version) at a competitive price, then it will be an hit.
I still remember my days with HTC HD2, a solid workhorse
One other thing that Verge/Engadget mentioned was the camera being a bit slow when compared to S7. Anandtech also did review on the NAND/Battery backup. If it's launched under 45k, it will be a good sell.
Can't be 45k. The US $699 version that does not include those nice earbuds is the equivalent of $50k.
Had no doubts the camera would be decent. HTC showed what they could do with the A9. A midranger that beats out a flagship camera of the same year is unheard of.
If the 10's camera can come close to the G4 they've succeeded. And that is a tremendous success given the headaches HTC had last year.
It won't compete with the G5/S7. And that is not a bad thing because Samsung & LG have had a tough time improving on last year's efforts themselves.
