HTC Desire U which was announced back in January for Taiwan has now arrived in India and now available through online retailer Flipkart and eBay for Rs 13500.
The Desire U is powered by 1GHz single-core processor with 512MB RAM and has 4GB internal storage expandable via microSD card slot. It has 4 inch display with WVGA 800 x 480 resolution. It runs dated Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich OS with Sense UI 4.5 and includes Beats Audio.
It has 5MP rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash but no front facing camera. Connectivity suite includes HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth 3.0 , A-GPS . It supports Dual-SIM and has 1650 mAh battery.
The phone is slightly better than the Desire C in terms of specs, but the old OS , low RAM and lack of front camera is disappointing at this price point.
