I was wondering actually lookin for a HTPC case something not above 3500rs which is available in India...
Wud be glad if anyone wud help me

Antec Minuet is 3.5k total. I bought one this month, brilliant case for the price - great finish and will fit in well with the rest of your electronics.

You can get it from Golcha, who has the Antec Minuet in stock - Computer Shop will have to order it and it could take a couple days. I got mine from ITdepot, Chennai. I've got a much cooler A64 3200+ running in this case @ 40C idle/52C load.
 
isn't there something like this i can get in Bangalore??
And yes i was also lookin for Card Reader /Floppy combo
 
I would not recommend minuet, as it has documented heating problems. Infact i doubt you would get new minuet coming into India. My recommendation would be the CM 260, since its a designed for HTPC, with a VFD. It will not fit your budget though. i think its price at 6K+.
 
^ Plus IIRC, the CM 260 also has that particular SFF shape as NashXda had put in his earlier post, right?

Can you guys tell me where I can get Decent HTPC cases other than Antec in delhi or in some other city with shipment to delhi.. My Budget is around 8-10K. I am looking for thermaltake/silverstone/cooler masters?
 
whats the use of these htpc cases? looking at the images it seems they are multimedia case.

what does htpc stand for?
