Huawei Ascend G300 and Y200 releasing in India this month for Rs. 14,990 and Rs. 9,490
Huawei has declared that they are releasing two new Android phones for the Indian market, by the names of Ascend G300 and Ascend Y200. The Ascend G300 has a 4 inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 which is also powered by a 1 Mega Pixel resolution. The Ascend G300 also has a 5 Mega Pixel camera with LED flash also. On the other hand, the Ascend Y200 has a 3.5 inch screen which has a resolution of 320 x 480, and it runs on a 800 MHz processor and has a 3.2 Mega Pixel rear camera. Both of these phones which are going to release this month run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), Although the Ascend G300 will be upgradeable to Android 4.0 (ICS).
Other important features for the Ascend G300 include but are not limited to 3.5mm audio jack, 3G ( G300: HSPA+ 14.4Mbps, Upload 5.76Mbps for the G300, Y200: Download 7.2Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR, GPS / aGPS.
The features which differ on both the phones are that the Ascend G300 features 512 MB of internal RAM, 4 GB of internal memory out of which 2.4 GB can be used, it also has a 1350 mAh battery. On the other hand the Ascend Y200 has 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of internal storage and a 1250 mAh battery. Both of the phones can be upgraded to 32 GB using a MicroSD card.
The Ascend G300 and Y200 will launch in India at a price of Rs. 14,990 and Rs. 9,490 respectively, and will go on sale starting this month.
