E122 is better than e1750?, how and on what basis, e1750 is 7.2 dl, 5.76 ul, e122 is 2.0 ul, and with antennna, whats your rationale behind rating e122 higher than e1750?
 
E122 is also HSUPA 5.76 Mbps with latest firmware. All HSUPA 2 Mbps devices are firmware upgradable to HSUPA 5.76 Mbps. Biggest Plus is the presence of external antenna provision on the E122 unlike no port in E1750. Also if you check internationally E122/E176 are quite highly priced than E1750/E1752 series.

Huawei E5 and E176 are the best available 3G modems as both of them have dual receive antennas.
 
Guys, please pardon my ignorance, but what do you use these modems for, I am interested in buying a wirless internet connection for Hyd / Chn and exploring Reliance / MTS options, pls let me know if purchasing this modem will be helpful, if so I would be interested.
 
^^ You need a sim card with data plan activated to use in these modems. You can use either a 2G or a 3G sim in these cards. I'm sure Hyd and Chennai would have decent 3G coverage, so try and get a BSNL 3G sim and use it.

But,that E122 does not have 1 year national warranty.
That has 6 months warranty from theitbazzar ?
Please correct me if I'm wrong.....:S

What about Voice & Text on the E122?

No one from the DVDStore GO has had any luck with Voice. Can any one confirm this?

If this does voice, then count me in as well.

What about this model (UMG181)? How does it compare to the 122?

This Huawei model if I'm not mistakes supports both Wi-Fi & Ethernet (LAN) connectivity. This would be great for those of us that want to connect it to our Wireless routers.
 
^ The UMG181 is a good model. I am using it right now. UMG181 also has external antenna support.

The second one is just a wireless router supporting Huawei USB modems. The actual modem is not included.
 
how good is the Idea Netsetter modem? Which model is it?? Can it be unlocked and used with other cards? I am getting a new one for 1400...
