^^ Nope. That's how the seller maintains the warranty list. This is what the seller conveyed to me recently when I phoned him. Yes a bad dealer would not care once he gets the money.

so after going in a full circle I come back to my first question again:
what guarantees the warranty of this device incase some issue pops up with it later ... say a few weeks after I buy it from you...
Again I am not doubting the working of the device nor the seller. But the seller has sold this to you not me... so how can we make sure than if I buy this device the original seller will honor the warranty?
Please understand my concern. for branded things the manufacturer stands by the warranty so u just need to walk to a service center with the device.
If u purchase from a TE dealer the mods and TE staff will stand by you to make sure no malpractices happen.
right. like wise thr is no "gaurantee of warranty" for this product

@Bublez: Im intrested., does the modem work in win 7 without the mobile partner software. I want the auto dialer to run in win 7, hence the question. Can I pick this up tommorow ?

Yes you can use it in Win 7 just with a dialer. Thats hw i was using it in my lappy.
