Its just a software unlock by keying the unlock code. The service centre is of Huawei in most cases (like Tata Photon+) dont check for this unlock thing and will replace it for problems like not being detected etc. Also I guess we can lock back the device by flashing to the operator firmware :P

Its not that we loose out Ipod warranty on jailbreaking it....just restore it and give it for warranty :P...same for this :)
 
I am also interested. PM me if you are getting them. But please let me the timeframe to actually finish the deal and get them in hand (ie. shipped to my address in Pune). I am ready to wait for at most 2 weeks from now. If it is going to be around a month from now, then I am not interested.
 
@varkey: Why dont you try and get some other 3G modem with similar specs as this one has a slide-out design which according to my experience with slide-out pen drives, doesnt work properly and becomes loose after 6-8 months of usage.
 
I am also interested in buying one if the pricing is good. Its been a couple of days but no update on this thread.Any ideas when we will have a go here.
