I went to T.Nagar (Chennai) today to know the battery pricing for my camera..

1) Camelion Alwaysready 4 x 2100mAH + Camelion Plain Charger = 700

2) GP Recyko 4 x 2100 mAH + Gp powerbank Charger = 490 + 275 = 770

3) Sanyo eneloop 4 x 2100 mAH = 385+385 = 770 (NO charger available seperately )

Which one is best VFM and gives long life.........

Thanks :eek:hyeah:

well the eneloop is tried and tested,do note whether u buy a camelion or sanyo or sony there are plenty of fakes.
buy only from authorised dealers.

@babhishek
if u want a orginal batteries u can go and buy a sony blue cycle energy batteries at any sony world or buy them online in primeabgb Sony Cycle Energy Battery NH-AAA-B2K these are sonys version of eneloop.

^... +1. It should be either Sony Cycle Energy or else Sanyo Eneloop... You will not regret buying them... Its practically more convenient to have a battery which holds charge much longer than ordinary NiMh cell...

I'm using Eneloops & I never have to worry about discharged cells on storage... Its always up & running like alkaline cells... Totally worth it...

By the way I've 16 Eneloops total.... :)

In sony website they charge cycle blue 2000 mAh 4 batteries for Rs 730\--

And what charger you use???

Pls suggest a good charger with trickle to avoid overcharging??

u can get their own charger/battery combo pack BCG-34HTD2K : Charger : Battery & Charger : Sony India

these blue cycle energy batteries and eneloop have lower AH capacity at 2000mah,but have a higher charge/discharge cycles.if u go for the normal ni-mh batteries like sony Green cycle energy u can get upto 2700mah but have shorter charge/discharge cycles .

A common question coming up in these forums seems to be the merits of a slow self-discharge eneloop type battery v/s a high capacity NiMH battery. Let me try to keep this simple and without tech jargon.

How do you use your camera or whatever gadget?

If you take a couple of shots from time to time and keep it in the case most of the time like I do, then eneloops are for you.

If you take it out on a holiday and want it to get a large number of shots in a matter of a few days then you should be going for 2500 or 2700 mAH MiMH cells.

Hope that is clear enough.

I use GP Recyco and I am very happy with them. Much more VFM than the Eneloops IMHO.

Which charger you use? and how much you bought from where?

Is it good because nobody says about GP Recyko and may it also contains fake pieces......?
