PC Peripherals HW error message in Samsung s2233sw

In every game, if i play with default settings, everything's fine.

But if i try to change the resolution to even one level up, i get a message saying screen not at optimized resolution. And the stupid message—a box in the middle of the screen—refuses to go away, making gameplay impossible.

How do i get rid of this message?

I have Biostar TA785GE with onboard ATI Radeon HD 4200 Graphics. The display's set at 1920 x 1080

Please help.

I also had the same problem.try changing the resolution to 16:9 aspect ratio.1280-768,1680-1050,1920-1080 etc.This method removed the error messages for me.

the problem's older games don' have the 16:9 res.

How do i get rid of this message?

Use DVI cable instead of analogue.
