Hyperlocal sevice app - which is better?

I have a Samsung automatic washing machine. For past couple of days when washing I get "DE" error. On checking Samsung's site they tell me its Door Error ie the door is open. I tried checking the door carefully but to no avail. Now when I try to raise a service request on Samsung's site they ask for Proof of purchase. But the washing machine is more than 4 yrs old. I don't have the proof and tried to reason with Samsung's CC to no avail. They think it might be some cheap import from Thailand or something.

While looking for alternatives I came to know about the hyperlocal service companies - Urbanclap, localoye, homejoy etc. Has anyone used them? specially for washing machines. Are they any good?
 
Why don't you call the showroom or your local Samsung service center instead ? Sometimes a direct call is more helpful than all this toll-free nonsense.
 
On a whim I tried their chat. Seemingly those guys did not ask for receipts and booked the service in a jiffy. That was surprising considering how their toll free number customer care acted.
